3D Digital Imaging for Emerging Applications

National Institute of Materials Physics (NIMP) in collaboration with the Research Institute (ICUB) of the University of Bucharest (UB) (https://icub.unibuc.ro/), Hirox Europe (https://hirox-europe.com/) and Global Source (https://globalsource.ro/) will organize a one-day workshop on 11 of February 2026, entitled “Microscopic Insights into Advanced Materials – 3D Digital Imaging for Emerging Applications”.
The workshop aims to present state-of-the-art 3D digital microscopy solutions for advanced materials research, addressing both fundamental and applied aspects. The program will include a keynote presentation on advanced digital imaging technologies, scientific sessions focused on interdisciplinary applications, and a live demonstration of the Hirox digital microscope on representative material samples.
The event is open to researchers, academic staff, and students interested in advanced imaging technologies and materials science.
